Constitution of India, Article 51A: Fundamental duties, (g), calls on every Indian 'to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wild life, and to have compassion for living creatures'.

The Entire Western Ghats, which is an ecologically sensitive zone, and critical to our habitat is at risk from ill-conceived projects, approved by insensitive govt.
