𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀

The event was co hosted by IVoluteer, Ruthychakra and Indian Roots Foundation.

Indian Roots aims to break the silence, raise awareness and change negative social norms surrounding menstrual hygiene. We gathered sixty women from various backgrounds like house wives, domestic workers, govt school teachers, daily wage construction workers and low income family students.

Our NGO partner IVolunteer took the women through the hygiene procedures and the taboo surrounding the mensturation.
