Hullahalli Grocery donation Drive

Many of us had hardly heard of the word pandemic untill last year. And when we heard we were forced to learn a lot of forgotten things. One main lesson was to love one another. Covid taught us that we cannot just survive in a nuclear family. Human beings are social animal & we are need support of each other to survive.

Hullahalli in Bangalore had a group of daily wagers/domestic helpers/autodrivers etc who were left unemployed during the lockdown. Manu chronic I'll patients among them had to suffer beyond words can express. That was when we requested everyone to join hands in helping them. Many of our folks who never wish their name be disclosed came up donations and we were successful is helping about 50 families with ration & necessities.

Along with donations comes another big task of making sure the help actually reaches the people. Our field work volunteers risked their health to take the ration kits. 

End of the day smiling faces are a real reward and the lesson of sharing & caring is well learnt.
